Hi Terry, I would love that salsa recipe. We went through the canal and around the horn to Buenos Aires in 1999 aboard the Royal Princess. What a great trip it was.... we went to Quito on a private tour and almost missed the boat due to a volcano eruption.... our guided knew the right people in high places and they actually held the ship for us!! our meals were definitely off the beaten path... and so differently delicious... I am looking forward to the salsa recipe. Though finding the chile you described may have to wait til we get back to Arizona.

thanks, Lani
