More personnel changes aboard Regent Seven Seas
Many of you have probably received direct word that my buddy Mikey, Executive Chef Mike Roemhild, has resigned from Regent Seven Seas. He and wife Heather Clancy are making their home in the beautiful city of Charleston, South Carolina where Mike hopes to get a job in one of the city’s great restaurants. Any establishment would be lucky to have him and I am sure you join me in wishing him luck. (Remember - Mike does have a chapter in my new Cruiser Friendly Onboard Guide to Alaska’s Inside Passage, 3rd edition and we are still working on a cookbook of the best Destination Dishes from around the world!)
On a brighter note, the lovely and talented Franck Galzy, former Food and Beverage Manager has been promoted to General Manager. Franck will take over on the Navigator. He is a great guy and truly one of the most gifted, creative talents I have ever met on land or sea. I hope that the pressures of the GM’s job does not put out his spirit or humor — All the best to Franck in his new position.
